LED Street Lighting

LED street lighting technology has made significant advancements as it continues to emerge. Currently the technology has reach a level of advancement which has made it competitive with incumbent technologies. This project is demonstrating LED street light technology through field placing fixtures in a larger scale than a standard assessment. Field placement of approximately 100 fixtures per site to evaluate cost barriers and understand the process in which a city or municipality would go through in order to make the switch from HPS to LED. Identification and understanding of any barriers to switching from HPS to LED including cost and customer understanding of the technology.
