Zero Net Energy Case Study Homes: Volume 4

Project Number ET17SCE8050 Organization SCE End-use Whole Building Sector Residential Project Year(s) 2017 - 2019
Description
Southern California Edison (SCE) is planning to produce a publication that contains case studies of residential buildings that were designed and built to achieve zero net energy (ZNE) performance and for which post-occupancy energy performance data have been obtained. The focus of the case study descriptions will be on the ZNE “best practices” for ensuring long-term ZNE building performance. These will therefore focus on the goals that were set, the results of the post-occupancy energy performance evaluations as a measure of the actual performance related to these goals, and adjustments to the building and its systems that were made to align the actual performance with the ZNE targets.
