Project Summary

The goal of this study is to provide recommendations for integrating emerging technologies into energy efficiency incentive programs for existing Small and Medium Business (SMB) Packaged HVAC applications in Pacific Gas and Electric Company (“PG&E”) territory. To achieve the project goals, a market and technology feasibility assessment was conducted through a literature review of manufacturer and technology market data. A master list of eligible technologies was narrowed down to a list of selected controls and retrofit strategies for consideration in the next phase of this collaborative effort, a field evaluation of each technology selected.
