Project Summary

Evaluated the potential energy savings of a combination of lighting system replacements and a new lighting installation in three different spaces on the LA County Internal Services Division campus. In the welding shop, probe start metal halide aluminum canister fixtures were replaced with 6- lamp fluorescent T5HO fixtures. In a conference room, 19, 4-lamp T8 fixtures were replaced with the same number of 2-lamp, T5HO fixtures. Variable reflector system (VRS) floodlights sourced with pulse start metal halide lamps were also installed in a new, open air parking lot.
