Description

This report assesses the demand response potential from single family residential swimming pool pumps. Pool pump profiles were developed based on site monitoring data for Inland, Coastal and Desert regions of Southern California Edison service territory.The resulting profiles produced an estimated maximum demand potential of 248 MW between the peak hours of noon and 6:00 p.m.
