Project Summary

Field tests confirmed 1.07 gpm appeared to be the low limit for pre-rinse spray valves used in 6 restaurants in the LA area. The low-flow retrofit achieved an average of 24.9% energy savings, despite an observed increase in average daily use time. The energy and water savings result in a combined average monthly savings of 8.35 therms, 178.4 ft3 of water, and $11.49.
