Impact of Demand Response and Energy Storage on the Grid

Project Number DR 10.17 Organization SCE End-use Whole Building Sector Other Project Year(s) 2010 - 2010
Description

This project was developed to better understand how multiple integrated demand side management (IDSM) measures will impact a building demand profile, and ultimately the electrical grid. This report details the findings on how energy efficiency (EE), demand response (DR), distributed energy (DG)/photovoltaic (PV), energy storage unit (ESU), and plug-in electric vehicles (PEV) impact the demand profiles of selected buildings.
