ET09SCE1220 Office of the Future Landmark Square Pilot Results

Project Number ET09SCE1220 Organization SCE End-use Whole Building, Lighting, Plug Load, Process Sector Commercial Project Year(s) 2009 - 2010
Description
This project had two primary goals: - To examine the performance characteristics of highly controlled lighting systems in a real office environment in terms of comparison to applicable codes, and -To evaluate the ability of the OTF Consortium framework to deliver a highly controlled solution that is satisfactory to occupants in a TI or office renovation. This Office of the Future (OTF) pilot project collected measured energy use from on-the-ground installations. A stepped baseline, starting with existing conditions, allowed Measurement and Verification (M&V) investigations into the contribution of savings from lighting and lighting controls, and plug load control measures, respectively. Measured outcomes were compared to the existing baseline and the various code baselines, as defined in California by 2008 Title 24.
