Energy Information System (EIS) Dashboard with Energy Manager for a Grocery Customer – Phase A Report

Project Number ET11PGE3161 Organization PG&E End-use Whole Building Sector Commercial Project Year(s) 2011 - 2012
Description

The growing availability of detailed energy information for California’s utility customers makes possible new programmatic approaches for delivering energy efficiency and demand management services. A 2011 technology assessment that provided a grocery customer with an Energy Information System (EIS) to manage energy use concluded that additional technical support was needed for the customer to convert the energy information to energy-saving actions. The current scaled field placement project combines an EIS with technical support to test a new approach for delivering energy efficiency and demand management services to small and medium buildings.
