Description
The electrode-less HID light source is a new class of solid-state plasma light source that combines the best features of solid-state electronics and full spectrum plasma emitters. Results are long life, energy efficiency and a complete color spectrum for general and specialty lighting applications. The objective of the project is to assess the incremental energy savings and demand reductions over other mainstream HID lighting systems, such as High-Pressure Sodium and Metal Halide.
