Project Number DR11SCE-0401 Organization SCE End-use Lighting Sector Residential Project Year(s) 2011 - 2011
Description

The study investigates the current state of the residential sector through a literature search and review.

The study’s Phase 1 evaluates available literature to determine if residential lighting and plug loads coincide with projected peak demand, and to determine the potential for customer acceptance of load reduction during peak demand. Extensive research was conducted through the review of news publications, research documents, surveys, and demand response (DR) case studies currently available. This research helped to understand and evaluate current information on residential DR for lighting and plug load applications.
