Project Summary

This project evaluates the feasibility of sewage treatment plants (STPs) with flows greater than 1 million gallons per day to participate in demand response (DR) programs. DR strategies applicable to the municipal wastewater treatment industry were identified and 10 STP site audits were performed to evaluate site-specific potential of the DR strategies.
