Deep Retrofits in Low Income Multi-Family Housing

Project Number ET14SCE1070 Organization SCE End-use Whole Building Sector Residential Project Year(s) 2014 - 2019
Description
This project is an aggressive multi-disciplinary, comprehensive, whole building approach to designing and constructing a net zero energy retrofit of an existing low-income multi-family complex. To the best of our knowledge this will be the first Multi-family Net Zero/ Deep Energy Reduction (DER) retrofit in SCE service territory. This project will demonstrate DER to be practical to install, replicable in quality, energy savings, and economic impacts for both property owners and residents.
