Project Number PGE 0802 Organization PG&E End-use Other Sector Commercial Project Year(s) 2008 - 2009
Description

Project Summary

This report describes the results of an assessment of the energy impacts resulting from use of ozone in an on-premise hotel laundry facility. The value of the natural gas saved due to the replacement of hot water with cold was the leading component of total savings.  The value of the electricity savings were minor, but the value of the water and sewer savings were larger than expected. Total savings resulted in a simple payback of 7.5 months.
