Advanced Lighting Controls and Commissioning Training for Lighting Designers/Engineers - Jobs Analysis

Project Number DR12SCE0301 Organization SCE End-use Lighting Sector Commercial Project Year(s) 2012 - 2012
Description

This project was created to develop the National Advanced Lighting Controls and Certification (NALCAC) program. The NALCAC program is being designed to provide significant increases in energy efficiency and demand response capabilities in the lighting and advanced control systems that are designed and ultimately installed. The project consists of four phases; jobs analysis (JA), body of knowledge (BOK), curriculum committee (CC), and test committee (TC). Each phase will result in a report detailing the findings of that effort, and the completion of all four phases will facilitate the creation of the NALCAC program.
