CEC Workshop: Roadmap to Identify Future Research for Energy Efficient Natural Gas Use in Buildings

The California Energy Commission’s Research and Development Division staff will hold a series of workshops to discuss preliminary priorities for natural gas-related energy efficiency research in buildings. This will result in the development of a Building End Use Energy Efficiency Natural Gas Roadmap that will guide future research funding.

The workshops will provide an overview of the status of existing research based on literature reviews and interviews with industry experts and preliminary recommendations for research priorities to improve natural gas energy efficiency in buildings. The feedback and input received from the workshops will inform the development of the roadmap.
