Green Proving Ground Webinar: Socially-Driven HVAC Optimization

-

The GSA's Green Proving Ground (GPG) "outbrief webinars" present innovative, cost-effective technology solutions for GSA. Each outbrief is presented by national laboratory researchers and includes results from real-world evaluations, as well as feedback from facility managers at test-bed locations. Following Outbrief presentations, researchers and other GSA subject experts field participant questions.

The next webinar is on Socially Driven HVAC Optimization. Researchers assessing this technology, which uses input from occupants in dynamic temperature management, found a 20% reduction in cooling energy over a typical GSA facility, a 59% reduction in hot and cold calls, and 83% of occupants more satisfied with their thermal conditions. During the webinar, researchers and facility managers will discuss findings, share operational guidance, and answer questions.
