Green Proving Ground Webinar: Condensing Boilers

-

The US Government's General Services Agency (GSA) Green Proving Ground hosts a series of "Outbrief Webinars" that present innovative, cost-effective technology solutions the GSA has researched. Each Outbrief is presented by national laboratory researchers and includes results from real-world evaluations, as well as feedback from facility managers at test-bed locations. Following Outbrief presentations, researchers and other GSA subject experts field participant questions.

The next webinar will focus on condensing boilers. During test-bed evaluations in Atlanta and Denver, researchers found energy savings of between 14% and 24%, with an estimated 4-to-7-year payback. Researchers also demonstrated that a return water temperature below 130°F is key to achieving efficiency for condensing boilers.
