Green Proving Ground Outbrief 09: Next-Generation Chillers (Webinar)

-

The General Services Administration will host a Green Proving Ground (GPG) Outbrief webinar on two next-generation chillers, the magnetic bearing chiller, assessed in 2012, and the variable-speed screw chiller, assessed in 2016. Researchers confirmed that both chillers are 35% better than FEMP standards for water-cooled chillers and have end-of-life payback under five years. During the webinar, researchers and facility managers will discuss findings from the test-bed evaluations, share operational guidance and answer questions.
