ETCC Open Forum

-

The semi-annual Open Forum provides an opportunity for energy-efficient technology developers and entrepreneurs to present promising technologies in a brief, structured format. The audience includes fellow developers and entrepreneurs, utility emerging technology program staff, energy efficiency consultants and researchers, commercial facility managers and other end-use customers, investors and California energy regulatory staff.

The June 17th Open Forum held in Downey, CA showcased a blend of 11 gas and electric emerging technology products. Each of the presenters had 20 minutes to showcase their emerging technologies, including providing an overview of their product, its competitive landscape and product impacts and limits. The presentations were followed by Q&A from utilities and participants at large. As a next step, the technologies will be considered for assessment by the statewide utility Emerging Technologies Program team.
